The Leadership & Governance Summer Program is a transformative experience designed for students, young professionals, and aspiring leaders eager to develop leadership skills, explore policy-making processes, and engage with top government officials, policymakers, and change-makers. This two-week immersive program offers hands-on leadership training, policy discussions, networking opportunities, and exclusive visits to parliament, government offices, and civic institutions in Africa. Participants will learn from experienced leaders while building the confidence and expertise needed to shape the future of governance and leadership

Program Highlights

✔ Duration: 2 Weeks (June 1 – June 20, 2025)

✔ Location: Hosted at partner universities in Kenya, South Africa, Ghana, and Rwanda

✔ Leadership Training: Interactive workshops on leadership development, strategic decision-making, and ethical governance

✔ Government & Policy Engagement: Exclusive visits to Parliament, government offices, and policy think tanks

✔ Hands-on Experience: Community engagement projects, leadership simulations, and panel discussions with government officials

✔ Certificate: Earn a Certificate of Completion for career and academic advancement


Program Costs

International Participants (Europe, UK, USA, Canada, Asia)

  • Program Fee: $700
  • Accommodation: $500 (University dormitories or nearby lodging)
  • Travel: $700–$1,200 (Depending on location)
  • Meals: $150–$200 per week
  • Additional Expenses: Medical insurance ($100), local transport ($50), visa fees (varies)

African Participants (50% Scholarship Available)

  • Program Fee: $350 (after scholarship)
  • Accommodation: $500 (University dormitories)
  • Travel: $700–$1,200 (Depending on location)
  • Meals: $150–$200 per week
  • Additional Expenses: Medical insurance ($100), local transport ($50), visa fees (varies)
